24V Inverter Operating Modes
#1. Utility charger as first priority (default)
- Simultaneous charging via both utility and solar energy occurs, with the utility supplying power to the loads.
- In instances of solar unavailability, the utility powers the loads while charging the battery concurrently.
- If the utility is inaccessible, solar energy charges the battery, which in turn powers the loads alongside solar energy.
- In scenarios where both utility and solar energy sources are unavailable, the battery alone supplies power to the loads.
#2. Energy saving mode
- If the output load exceeds 5% of the total power, the utility steps in to supply power to the loads and simultaneously charges the battery in the absence of solar energy.
- In the absence of both utility and solar energy:
- When the output load surpasses 5% of the total power, the battery provides power to the loads until it reaches 0% discharge, leading to inverter shutdown.
- If the output load falls below 5% of the total power, the solar inverter transitions to standby mode within 5 seconds. It automatically activates the solar inverter every 6 seconds and monitors whether the load exceeds 5% of the total power every 3 seconds.”
#3. Energy storage priority
- When both utility and solar energy are available, solar energy is utilized to charge the battery, and subsequently, both solar and battery energy power the loads.
- In setups with both utility and solar energy, the battery charges via solar power and then powers loads. If the battery hits 50% capacity (or a 12V battery drops to 11.5V), utility kicks in to recharge it and power loads, stopping battery supply. When the battery hits 90% capacity (or a 12V battery reaches 13.5V), utility shuts off, letting solar recharge the battery. Then, both solar and battery power loads.
- In the absence of both utility and solar energy, battery energy solely powers the loads until the batteries discharge to 0%, following which the inverter shuts down.
